Let me just repeat, in case you missed it: on the east side of LA, 16 out of 100 high school kids graduates. That’s right folks, 16. Not 60…not 30…16.
In other (better) news, a charter school in NYC has decided to pay its teachers 125 grand$ a year. It’s an experiment they say, to see if well paid teachers create a better learning environment. Huh! I wonder what will happen…. (insert sarcastic tone here).
